Created with a chicken-feather brush, the calligraphy work in semi-cursive script is a pictographic fusion of the Chinese characters “因” (cause) and “果” (effect/fruit) made with rounded, angular, thick, thin as well as dry and streaky strokes, and used as a metonymy for the Buddhist doctrine of karma, triggering imagination about the implication of the calligraphy.

以雞毫筆作行書體，透過漢字的象形特色，將部份類近結構以合體方法書寫，以方、圓、濃、淡，飛白的用筆效果作視覺呈現，兼借喻佛家「因果」之說，引起視覺想像，不失漢字本體造型。
